Ken and I didn't spend much time sitting around
Kenwood's work six and seven days a week for general motors
and still do more than most people could do if they're only working 40 hours a week

he really kept me on my toes . I can still hear his mother saying Kenith Marshall don't say that . When she spoke to him In that voice he straightened up in a hurry and you would've thought he was twelve years old . Ken was always close to his family And he truly loved His mother and dad. He was for sure that no one had better say anything bad about either one of the sisters They could do no wrong and Ken would tell you so . Thanks Ken you brought a lot of joy to my life .

KEN BRINKLEY

Ken died Saterday and I will miss him , I have not seen Ken in years , but he's been with me almost every day . Ken and I did so many things together that I could not even try to list them all , we work together , we live together , we hunt and fish together , we go to the races , and Ken was with me when I tried to kill myself on the motorcycle . Ken is the first of my best friends to have died and I never realized how hard that would be on me . My heart goes out to Roy and Wendy , I know what a huge part Ken played in their lives . Ken has always been proud of his kids and bragged them up until we got tired of listening to him .

California or BUST

What a day we had Dee , Sharon & i picked up MY HERO Tracy, in Yuma on our way to Kim's in Ocean Side Ca. We had so much fun on the beach. Swimming, i fished( did not use a hook, but had every one looking) We did fly my kite, and built sand castles. After dark we roasted marshmallow's, and some of the girls went topless, Sharon would not let me look. I would post pictures but my camera got wet. It still works but i lost all my good pictures. We had to stay over because we were all to drunk to drive home. It was lucky we were only a few blocks from Kim's. We must have been quite A sight walking with our toys, and empty coolers, laughing and stumbling up the street. Thanks Kim for letting us crash. Sorry about the mess. We all got home safe and will never forget the experience.

Thanks Gram pa & grandmother for my first Donald Duck This was 1936, a very good year for me. I said my first word in 1937, according to my baby book it was not dada or mama but Donald Duck. I don't remember but mom would have gotten it right. Does that make me unique ?

It got up to 109 today, I could cook eggs without the grill being lit. It's going back to the 80s for the rest of the week.

weather report

Weather is looking good for Obama. The weather is wonderful here 80 to low 90 WE don't need a coat or air conditioning. This is the best time of the year here. Some times its like MICHIGAN SUMMERS AND ONLY LAST A COUPLE WEEKS, but its been a month now and forecasts do not show any 100 days in sight. Yes I know its coming but I can Waite.Some bad news my two baby birds did not make it they have gawn to birdy heven. Mom has two new eggs and is trying agin.

Ron Paul ok I looked him up. Is he real? It sounds to good to B real. How can we ger him elected? If elected would he B able to funtion in the White House? He sounds to good to be true, and U know what they say if it sounds to good to be true it probily is. Obama is true, and thats to bad. We are not given much choice. There will b a lot of things going on between now and Nov. I will wate and see.
